Personal Statement & Biography

I am Steven Chen and is a director and editor. I have been working in the film and video industries for ten years. When I was very young, I threw my interest into making web videos and gaming videos. And now, my own game video production on Tik Tok, has over 98 million views, 190 thousand views on bilibili, and 480 thousand views on Youku.

Later, I realized that I can make film shooting as my goal, and I began to work hard in this direction. On the set, I have worked as 1st Assistance Camera, Sound Mixer, Editor, Script Supervisor, DIT in more than 20 film production projects. The goal of my film is not only to let the audience watch beautiful pictures and interesting plots, but to inspire them to think after watching. The exploration of human nature and thoughts about society can make the audience truly grow.

As I said, many of my films are dedicated to exposing family, love, and friendship as well as devoting topics into anti-violence and anti-bullying campaigns. There are many possibilities in everyone’s life and I am not only stop on it, Over the years, I have worked on video production in over 3 companies, over 200 short videos, a dozen game commercials, and 60 product marketing videos.
